Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Silkscreen Operator is to perform the duties involved in screen printing. These duties include preparing screen printing stencils, mixing and loading ink, cleaning and prepping parts, and reading and applying blueprints to screening processes. The Silkscreen Operator is also responsible for keeping records of work completed, job history, quality standards, and maintaining and being accountable for the inventory of screens.

Position Requirements/Tasks
- Printing with repeatable results.
- Anticipating, recognizing, and fixing possible issues with ink and screens.
- Verify and follow all information on the job router before screening, including ink color matching and verification to print.
- Utilize fixtures and set-up board to process parts.
- Run quality checks throughout the process.
- Verify the proper quantity has been screened before cleaning and breaking down for the next job.
- Safely perform physical demands (listed below).
- Perform all duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
- Work mandatory overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for varying periods throughout the shift.
- Must be able to read, hear, and comprehend directions given.
- Must have reasonably good use of fingers, hands, and arms.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to adjust focus and see colors with acuity.
