Position Overview

This position is responsible for preparing finished product according to correct length, shape, and orientation according to customer and/or product requirements using hand tools and air-powered tools. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS -Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs frequently. -Squat, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently. -Sit, stand, and/or walk for 1-10 hours per day. -Close mental and visual attention is required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time. WORK ENVIRONMENT -Must be able to comfortably work in a 55-85 degree Fahrenheit environment. Position Requirements/Tasks

• Read and understand blueprints and job routers.
• Use a bandsaw, drill press, thermal press, and sonic welder to assemble products.
• Identify and report any material or quality issues.
• Learn and identify product and be able to correctly set up jobs and pull correct inventory, with assistance of lead and material handlers.
• Test and quality check products prior to packing and shipping, including using a Visual Fault Light tester, calipers, and air tools.
• Neatly and efficiently package and stack product for shipment to customer, including using a utility knife, tape-dispenser gun, and packaging foam.
• Identify and report any inventory issues.
• Safely pull and move inventory with a pallet jack.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Promote a safe and friendly work environment, and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent may be required.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to use hand tools and products such as a heat sealer, tape dispenser, and box cutter.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.
• Understand and support company policies and procedures.
• Safety conscious behavior.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Must be able to work with various types of assembly constraints with guidance.
