Fiber Tap Plus Cross Connect
FIBER TAP® PLUS CROSS CONNECT
FIBER TAP® PLUS CROSS CONNECT
Available in any configuration up to 12 service terminal ports for residential distribution, also allowing pass through network designs. Compact size, comparable to typical line equipment.
Providing fiber solutions to various MDU or single tenant buildings. The Fiber Tap® Plus Cross Connect has a compact size for wall mounting capabilities and can be placed in demarcation areas.
Vertical mounting capabilities allow both feeder and distribution drop fibers to enter and exit from a single side of the Fiber Tap® Plus Cross Connect. Compact in size, allowing it to be mounted in 10" wide pedestals.
Similar to dome splice enclosures, the Fiber Tap® Plus Cross Connect allows a one sided entry for both feeder and distribution drop fibers.
The Fiber Tap® Plus Cross Connect can be configured with 6 service ports per side, giving it a total capacity of 12 service ports.
The Cross Connect was given the ability to utilize either Scout™ bulkheads or Surelight™ IP bulkheads.
Hardened IP connectors plug into the outside ports of the closure. Drops can be installed quickly, providing quick service to the end user.
A plug grommet is utilized when no entrance or exit cables will be utilized, sealing the closure from outside elements.
Multilink produces 3 differnt round grommet sizes, all ranging to accommodate cables between .48" diameter to .68" diameter.
A flat cable grommet is capable of holding 4 seperate flat cables. Not all have to be utilized as plugs can be provided for unused holes.
The small round cable grommet is designed to house up to 4 3mm round cables. This grommet can be utilized in conjunction with Multilink's SpeedFlex™ fiber cable. Not all have to be utilized as plugs can be provided for unused holes.
Encompassing two separate entry ports, the drop fiber installation is located in a separate compartment, ensuring the installer only comes into contact with the drop installation cables.
4 non captive ports surround the base of the unit, allowing mid span access for up to 144 count fiber runs. Each grommet has the ability to handle various cable sizes.
The FTP Cross Connect utilizes our 12-SSTP splice tray. The tray utilizes 12 ports and is capable of being double stacked, giving it a 24 fiber splice capacity per tray.
The design of the 12-SSTP allows for multiple trays to be stack on top of one another, minimizing space and providing greater splicing capacities. The FTP Cross Connect has the ability to house up to 3 trays stacked on top of one another, giving it a total splice capacity of 72 fibers.
The Fiber Tap® Plus Cross Connect has been engineered and tested to meet IP-68 standards.
Manufactured using strict Six Sigma practices and standards.
