Designed for use in fiber access networks, the Multilink Fiber Tap Plus® Subscriber Terminal offers unbeatable adaptability in FTTX networks. The terminal's flexibility, reliability and compact footprint have been field tested to achieve fast and simple deployment within a network. Available in 4, 8 and 12 port terminals, it can be ordered in various configurations to meet your network or budget requirements. The environmental protected connectors and drop assemblies allows for fast and easy installation of the subscriber drop. The unique re-enterable housing allows for easy access to the fiber connectors. Mounting capabilities allow for use in various network applications or design.

The Fiber Tap Plus® can be ordered with either Surelight® Scout™ Bulkheads OR Surelight® IP Bulkheads and either 1 OR 2 feeder ports accommodating your choice of flat and round drop cable, factory terminated OR field installed. The top of the enclosure includes a port diagram to match with each subscription terminal.

Feeder Input

Input Ports

The setup on the enclosure allows it to support either 1 OR 2 cable input/output ports.

Cable Compatibility

The Fiber Tap Plus was designed to accommodate either flat OR round drop cable.

Fiber Management

The base of the enclosure has a central strength member clamp that secures the input fiber to the unit. The base also has a slack management bracket to properly route the fiber on the inside of the enclosure.

Mounting

Aerial

The Fiber Tap Plus® can be used with a wide variety of aerial hanger brackets to mount it to a strand anywhere along the run.

Surface

The Fiber Tap Plus® has built in mounting brackets located on opposite ends of the base that allow it to be mounted flush agains a surface.

Pedestal

Utilizing a 360-degree mounting system, the Fiber Tap Plus® can be mounted vertically in compact spaces, including a wide range of pedestals.

Vault

Designed to meet IP68 standards, the Fiber Tap Plus® has the ability to be used in below grade applications.

The Fiber Tap Plus has the ability to deliver runs to various locations such as: SMU's, MDU's (Multi Dwelling Units like apartment blocks or hotels) and businesses.
