Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Production Manager who is an expert in the manufacturing field. The Manager should be a manufacturing process expert who is hands-on and enjoys working with people. Core duties include overseeing and running production controls, which may include scheduling, work instructions, and process implementations. This position reports directly to the CEO. Position Requirements/Tasks

• Responsible for operational performance and improvement of key metrics including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and associate morale.
• Align area metrics with overall department/value stream goals.
• Organize resources to deliver on metrics.
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within assigned departments.
• Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
• Responsible for driving multiple departments to achieve profitability and business goals and objectives.
• Provide timely, accurate reports on the operating condition of the assigned departments.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational structure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of Multilink.
• Motivate and lead a high-performance management team.
• Provide mentoring to junior members of the team.
• Train plant personnel and new employees.
• Manage up to 50 direct reports, including team leaders and production team members.
• Support and foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging production staff to challenge existing processes and implement solutions that enhance the overall effectiveness of the operation.
• Maintain all manufacturing processes in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field highly preferred.
• 5-7 years manufacturing experience, with direct reports, required.
• 5-7 years experience in producing electrical parts required.
• Strong leadership skills required.
• 5-7 years MRP/ERP system experience required.
• Must be a results-driven strategic thinker.
• Must be a strong decision-maker.
